IPPC transport crate with long-term system protection and transport sensors

We manufactured a large IPPC crate and packed an industrial assembly into it for a period of 24 months. We protected the assembly against corrosion and moisture, and fitted the crate with transport sensors, doors and reinforcements. We prepared the entire shipment to ensure that the system would reach the recipient in perfect condition, even after a long period of storage.

IPPC wooden transport crate

We have manufactured a large IPPC crate intended for an industrial system. The crate is made of plywood and stands on a wooden platform constructed from beams. We have reinforced the corners with sheet metal angle brackets to protect the structure from damage during transport and handling.

Packaging the system for 24 months  

We have packaged the unit with a view to long-term storage and transport, lasting 24 months. We have protected it with VCI anti-corrosion film, ALU barrier film and stretch film. We have wrapped any protruding parts in bubble wrap.

Stowage and securing in the hold  

We stowed the items inside the crate using timber to ensure the load remained stable during transport. 

Shock, tilt and humidity sensors 

We have fitted the crate with shock, tilt and humidity sensors. We have attached panels to the walls of the crate. These enable the recipient to assess whether the load was transported correctly.
