Shrink-wrapping the container

Danpol provided a packaging service for two tanks, intended for road transport. The project involved comprehensive cargo protection using bubble wrap and shrink wrap, as well as precise seating of the tanks on special beds supplied by the customer. The aim was to provide full protection during transit and to eliminate the risk of mechanical damage.

Preparation and positioning of tanks on beds

The tanks were precisely seated on sturdy transport beds, which were supplied by the customer. Proper positioning and levelling of the cargo was a key step, guaranteeing stability during transit and facilitating further safety work.

Protection of sensitive components with bubble wrap

All protruding and vulnerable tank components were carefully wrapped in bubble wrap. This minimised the risk of mechanical damage during load handling, loading and transport.

Shrink-wrapping

The entire tanks were tightly packed in shrink wrap, which, when shrunk, provided excellent protection against weather, dust and moisture. The shrink film conformed perfectly to the shape of the tanks, creating a durable and tear-resistant coating.

Checking the tightness and quality of the protection

Once the packaging was completed, a check was made on the tightness of the film and the correctness of the securing of all critical points. It was checked that the containers were firmly seated on the beds and that all components were properly secured.
