Export packaging of gas dryer tanks for road transport

We are a renowned manufacturer of wooden transport boxes and an expert in export packaging. We realised the comprehensive protection of two gas dryer tanks for road transport. The realisation included both the individual design of the wooden bed and the application of advanced cargo protection techniques, guaranteeing safety during transport at home and abroad.

Requirements analysis and bed design

At the start of the implementation, a detailed analysis of the dimensions, weight and specifics of the gas dryer tanks was carried out. On this basis, a bespoke design of a wooden bed was developed, which provided stable support and a suitable arrangement of fixing points. The bed was made of high-quality coniferous wood with IPPC certification, guaranteeing compliance with international phytosanitary standards.

Packaging in bubble wrap

The tank surfaces were carefully wrapped in bubble wrap before further protection was applied. This step was intended to protect against mechanical damage and scratches during transport and handling of the cargo.

Corrosion protection with VCI foil

Another protective layer was the VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) anti-corrosion film, which effectively protects metal components against moisture and the formation of corrosion. This solution is particularly recommended when transporting equipment and components prone to rusting, even in domestic conditions.

Shrink-wrapping

The entire package was tightly packed in heat-shrinkable film with high resistance to damage and weather conditions. The sealing of the foil ensured a full seal, further protecting the cargo from dust, dirt and water, and enabling long-term storage without the risk of deterioration.

Securing and restraining the load

The tanks, including the bed, were firmly secured to the ground with certified Cordlash straps, which guarantee high strength and safety during transport. In addition, the solutions used immobilise the load, eliminating the risk of shifting during the journey, which is key to protecting both the equipment being transported and other road users

Quality control and commissioning

Once all the packing and securing stages were completed, a detailed quality control and photographic documentation was carried out. The cargo was handed over for road transport, with a guarantee that all safety requirements and compliance with the applicable standards would be met.
