Export packaging of steel frames under compressor for MANA for road transport

Danpol carried out specialised export packaging of two steel frames under a compressor for road transport to Switzerland. The order required the use of shrink wrap and professional transport labelling to ensure that the cargo was fully protected from atmospheric and mechanical factors during international transport.

Preparation of steel frames for packaging

Prior to the actual packaging, the steel frames were thoroughly cleaned and positioned on transportation sleepers. Particular attention was paid to protruding parts and areas prone to mechanical damage – these were protected with an extra layer of bubble wrap and cushioning materials.

Application of shrink film

All sensitive points and parts of the device that could be damaged during the film shrinking process were carefully protected. A protective layer of buffer materials was used to protect sharp edges and protruding parts. Electronic components, connectors and control panels were given additional protection against potential mechanical damage and the effects of humidity.

Tight sealing and final shrinking of the film

When shrink-wrapping the film, particular attention was paid to making airtight seals, especially at sheet joints and edges. This resulted in a fully sealed package and load protection over the entire surface.

Transport label printing and quality control

Permanent transport markings were applied to the outer film layer, in accordance with the requirements of international transport. Once the packaging was completed, a detailed quality check was carried out, verifying the tightness of the film, the completeness of the markings and the stability of the secured frames on the transport sleepers. The finished loads were handed over for onward road transport to Switzerland.
