Packaging of metal structure for sea transport

We received an order for the packaging of a metal structure to be transported by sea.

Description of the implementation of the order:

We started the implementation by carefully wrapping the metal structure itself in a special VCI film, which effectively protects the metal from corrosion during transport. We then secured it to the transport platform with heavy-duty Cordlash straps, preventing it from moving.

We also placed moisture absorbers inside the packaging to eliminate the risk of condensation and associated water vapour. Another layer of protection was wrapped in bubble wrap, providing excellent protection against mechanical damage.

Finally, the entire load was tightly wrapped in stretch film, giving it a compact and stable form. The structure was then placed in a specially designed wooden transport box, the dimensions of which were adapted to the dimensions of the load.

Once delivered to the loading site, we secured the cargo box to the Flat Rack container with Cordlash straps, preventing it from moving during sea transport. With such comprehensive securing, the metal structure will arrive safely at its destination, ready for further use by the customer.
