Our Projects
Loading inspection of boxes with control cabinets at DCT Gdansk
We carried out a loading inspection and re-packing of the control cabinets in transport boxes at the DCT Gdansk warehouse. The service included verification of the condition of the existing packaging and the use of original protective materials, ensuring compliance with the requirements of maritime transport.
Scope of service provided:
Description of the implementation of the order:
Pre-inspection of transport boxes
Danpol specialists carried out a detailed review of the technical condition of the wooden crates, checking their construction for mechanical damage, moisture content and compliance with the IPPC standard. The crates were verified for stability and tightness, which is crucial for sea transport
Analysis of previous cargo securing
The method of securing the control cabinets inside the boxes was analysed, assessing the effectiveness of the transport straps and spacers previously used. It was confirmed that the original materials (VCI film, moisture absorbers) were suitable for reuse.
Re-packaging according to standards
The control cabinets were carefully placed in the boxes, using the existing anti-slip protection. The original fixing arrangement was retained, avoiding additional modifications to the packaging design.
Inspection documentation and recommendations
Once the crates were closed, photo documentation and an inspection note were produced. The crates were ready to be loaded for sea transport without the need for additional technical measures. The work was completed as planned.
