Packaging of the tank for road transport

We were awarded a contract for the packaging of a tank intended for road transport. This project required us to use specialised methods to secure the load.

We started by preparing a stable wooden bed on which we placed the tank. We then protected it with bubble wrap, providing excellent protection against mechanical damage.

We wrapped the component thus prepared with a special VCI film to protect the metal from corrosion. Another layer of protection was the shrink film, which, when heated, conformed exactly to the shape of the tank, creating a tight and compact package.

We secured the tank to the transport platform with heavy-duty Cordlash straps, preventing it from moving during road transport. In addition, we used struts and restraints, immobilising the entire load.

Thanks to such comprehensive export packaging, the tank will arrive safely at its destination, ready for further use by the customer. We have met all of the Principal’s requirements, guaranteeing the highest level of cargo security during road transport.
