Packaging of a lubricating oil tank for sea transport

In this order, we handled the preparation of the lubricating oil tank of the TG turbine lubrication system. The cargo was transported by sea to Turkey, with loading in Rotterdam.

Description of the implementation of the order:

We began preparing the tank for transport by securing it on the transport platform with heavy-duty straps. Such securing guarantees the stability of the load and prevents it from moving during transport.

We then carefully wrapped the tank with a special VCI anti-corrosion film, which protects the metal from corrosion. We also placed moisture absorbers inside, eliminating the risk of condensation during transport.

The next step was to wrap the tank in ALU barrier film, providing airtight protection against moisture and atmospheric agents. The whole was additionally protected with a stretch film, giving the cargo a compact and stable form.

Finally, the tank was placed in a custom-designed wooden transport box, the dimensions of which were ideally adapted to the dimensions of the load. Thanks to such comprehensive protection, the tank will arrive safely at its destination, ready for further use by the customer.
