Packaging of water and oil equipment for sea transport

We were awarded a contract to package water and oil equipment for sea transport to the USA. This project required us to use specialised methods to secure the cargo.

We started by carefully protecting the systems themselves with a layer of protective bubble wrap to protect them from mechanical damage. We then wrapped them with a special VCI anti-corrosion film to prevent metal corrosion.

We also placed moisture absorbers inside the packs, eliminating the risk of condensation during sea transport. We secured each system on a separate platform with sturdy straps, preventing it from moving.

The loads prepared in this way were packed in individually designed wooden transport boxes, dimensionally adapted to the dimensions of the equipment. In the crates with small parts, we used partitions and shelves to immobilise the components and protect them against shocks.

With such comprehensive protection, the water and oil equipment will arrive safely at its destination in the USA, ready for further use by the customer. We have met all the principal’s requirements, guaranteeing the highest level of cargo security during sea transport.
