Our Projects
Export packaging woodworking machinery for Mar Masz
We carried out a comprehensive service to secure a woodworking machine for the Mar Masz company. The order was carried out in Sierakowska Huta, preparing the machine for demanding sea transport. The process included customised IPPC crate fitting, anti-corrosion protection and professional immobilisation and marking of the cargo, guaranteeing complete safety during international shipment.
Scope of service provided:
Description of the implementation of the order:
Preparation of the packing station and machine
The process began with the preparation of the woodworking machine in the hall at Sierakowska Huta. The machine was set up on a sturdy and fitted wooden platform, enabling stable assembly and easy handling during the subsequent packaging stages.
Additional protection – bubble wrap
At the next stage, the sensitive components were protected with bubble wrap to absorb shocks and protect the machine from mechanical damage during loading, transport and handling.
Corrosion protection – VCI film and moisture absorbers
A key step was to wrap the machine in VCI anti-corrosion film, which protects metal components from the damaging effects of moisture and sea salt thanks to volatile corrosion inhibitors. In addition, moisture absorbers were placed in the packaging to absorb excess water vapour and minimise the risk of condensation during prolonged sea transport.
Immobilisation and attachment to the ground
The machine and its ancillary components were secured to the base with heavy-duty Cordlash straps. The use of these straps guarantees the stability of the load and protects it from shifting even in the harsh conditions of sea transport. The entire assembly has been tested for rigidity and secure fastening.
Final packaging and labelling of boxes
Once all layers of protection had been completed, the machine was enclosed in a fitted IPPC transport crate measuring 1300x1400x2000 mm. The crate was additionally covered with a tarpaulin at the top and lined with a vapour-permeable film inside, which provides protection from the weather and allows the cargo to ‘breathe’. The required transport markings have been applied to the crate to facilitate identification and handling throughout the logistics process.
